In an FC SAN environment, which security mechanism prevents a switch port from being enabled even after a switch reboot?
Port type locking
What is an accurate statement about a hybrid cloud?
Supports data and application portability for load balancing between clouds
Allows organizations with common concerns to share the cost of deploying the cloud
Enables the entire cloud infrastructure to be controlled by the consumer’s IT staff
Allows an organization to outsource the implementation of a private cloud to a cloud provider

Which cloud service does VMware vCloud Air provide?
Infrastructure as a Service
Platform as a Service
Database as a Service
Software as a Service
Which fabric service distributes SW-RSCNs to the other switches in a Fibre Channel SAN?
Fabric login server
Fabric management server
In an FCoE environment, which functionality provides a framework for the allocation of bandwidth to different network traffic classes?
Enhanced transmission selection
Priority-based flow control
Data center bridging exchange protocol
The exhibit represents an FCIP tunnel configuration that merges the two FC SANs at either end of the tunnel. Which types of ports do the labels "X" and "Y" represent on the FCIP gateway shown in the exhibit?
X = E_Port and Y = VE_Port
X = F_Port and Y = VN_Port
X = VF_Port and Y = E_Port
X = VN_Port and Y = VE_Port

Information Storage Associate Version 3 (EMCISA)
Proven Professional Website
Proven Professional Community
This certification validates the learner’s comprehensive understanding of various storage infrastructure components in traditional, virtualized, and software-defined
data center environments. It tests the learner’s knowledge of storage-related technologies in an increasingly complex IT environment, which is fast changing with the adoption of third platform technologies (cloud, Big Data, social, and mobile
technologies). It provides a strong understanding of storage technologies and prepares participants for advanced concepts, technologies, and processes.
To complete the requirements for this certification you must:
Pass the following Associate level exam on or after August 28, 2015.
E05-001 Information Storage and Management Version 3 Exam
This certification will qualify towards all the Specialist level certifications in the EMC Proven Professional Cloud Architect (EMCCA), Cloud Administrator (EMCCAD), Storage Administrator (EMCSA), Technology Architect (EMCTA), Cloud Engineer (EMCCE),
Implementation Engineer (EMCIE), Technical Support Engineer (EMCTSE), and Platform
Engineer (EMCPE) tracks.
Note: These details reflect certification requirements as of 8/28/15.
The Proven Professional Program periodically updates certification requirements.

E05-001 Information Storage and Management Version 3 Exam
Pass Score: 61
Exam – E05-001
This exam is a qualifying exam for the Information Storage Associate Version 3 (EMCISA) certification.
This exam focuses on information storage and management in a data center. It includes third platform technologies, intelligent storage systems, software-defined storage, storage networking technologies, and various business continuity options – along with security and management of a storage infrastructure. A limited number of
questions refer to product examples that are used in the training to reinforce the knowledge of technologies and concepts.
EMC provides free practice tests to assess your knowledge in preparation for the exam. Practice tests allow you to become familiar with the topics and question types you will
find on the proctored exam. Your results on a practice test offer one indication of how prepared you are for the proctored exam and can highlight topics on which you need to study and train further. A passing score on the practice test does not guarantee a passing score on the certification exam.
Topics likely to be covered on this exam include:
Data Center Infrastructure (15%)
Introduction to information storage
Third platform technologies
Data center environment
Storage Systems (29%)
Intelligent storage systems
Block-based storage systems
File-based storage system
